BIOGRAPHY! Sara started life in Starling City, the daughter of a cop and a professor. She has one sister, Laurel. Her family got along well and was happy. Sara was always a troublemaker but this didn't cause her many problems until Oliver Queen. Oliver was the one boy she could never resist, even if he was her sister's boyfriend. This would lead her to sneak away with him on his family's boat. At that age she could be recklessly ignorant of others' feelings and this is an example of it.But the event would turn out wrong for more than just the fact it was cheating. The boat was rigged to shipwreck, something unknown to all its passengers. While Oliver would wash up on an island, Sara was taken captive by another ship, the Amazo. For a year she would be there, under the beck and call of one Dr. Ivo. She had no choice but to help him and part of this involved being involved in the torture of his men. This was the first marr on her soul, the first of many to come. A year before she had been an innocent college student. Now that was lost forever. In the several years that ensued she would go through many trials to survive. Eventually she would be taken in by Nyssa al Ghul. Nyssa would care for her and love her, the two involved in a romantic relationship. Sara was drafted into the League of Assassins, the organization Nyssa's father presides over. Of course with this would be missions and murders, something which Sara could only tolerate for so long. When she felt there was only a little of her soul left she fled to Starling City, to her home. Eventually she would become one of only two people released from their contracts with the League. But her fight was not over, it would never be over. While in Starling City she patrolled the city as The Canary, using advanced physical prowess to protect it. She also has certain technology such as a sonic device intended to create a cry. She's learned many things in her years of survival and she uses them all for her home. She prefers to protect women and her sister, also making effort to rescue The Arrow from dire and dangerous moments. She takes care of an orphan named Cindy (Sin for short). This is due to a promise she made while she was gone. She feels it's one way to keep a last scrap of humanity. In the meantime she tries to cope with herself. Sara doesn't like herself very much. She deals with avoidance and personal blame. She finds no love lost in herself. Her efforts as the Canary are intended to try to save what is left of her, and she will never ever stop. | ||
